Shark Cage Diving is an unforgettable underwater experience with Great Whites in Gansbaai and has been rated in 2011 as one of the best places to go and things to do all around the world. This is a full-day event as Gansbaai is approximately 2.5 hours from Cape Town. The operators we use have excellent safety records, highly qualified and experienced staff and provide personalized attention. Safety briefings are given to all passengers and a hi-tech and comfortable catamaran is used. The cage is of the floating-variety type and is custom-made to the highest quality standard with 12mm galvanized steel mesh. The sharks cannot get inside, and they do not try to. All diving equipment is supplied free of charge. For those not wanting to dive, they are able to view from the boat where they can closely observe and photograph the sharks.
