This tour includes a visit to the top of Table Mountain – the City’s most famous landmark, incredible city views from Signal Hill, the popular Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a scenic drive past Parliament Buildings, City Hall, Bo Kaap (the Malay quarter) and a visit to Green Market Square (the traditional African craft market). On this day you can also visit Robben Island, the place of imprisonment of many political activists. Robben Island, for years a place of banishment and isolation, is today a World Heritage Site and museum offering an unforgettable experience for all visitors. The visit to the Island includes a return boat trip across Table Bay, a visit to the maximum security prison and a 45-minute bus ride with guided commentary.
